On a hot, fly-infested summer day in July of 2003, two aging and yet immature individuals faced their greatest fears in one final attempt to regain the glory of their youth. Bob H. and Roger S. returned to the pivotal site of their salad days along the raging Lester River, and stood at the rail, staring down into the gaping, wind-sucking maw of death itself.
